Many who work in the construction industry often say that, “Construction is in their blood”. I can honestly say that H.J. O’Connell Construction is in my blood. O’Connell has been a part of my family’s life ever since my father, Gilbert Curran, joined the company as a young engineer in 1948 and retired 48 years later in 1996. O’Connell was the only company he ever worked for. I was hired as a summer student by O’Connell during 1981-1984 and in 1989 I joined the company on a full time basis. H.J. O’Connell Ltd. was founded in 1931 and the organization has managed to survive for nearly a century due to the fact that it is a dynamic workplace. The company understands the construction industry and adapts to the ever changing environment. It is a fantastic place to work for and I am honored to be a part of this exciting and dynamic team.
